Will Verizon unlock my iPhone 4?
I want to unlock my iPhone 4 to increase its value when I buy the iPhone 5. Will they do this for me or do I have to do it myself. And If they will do it what would I ask them.
Verizon will unlock your phone if once your two year contract is up. It is as easy as askng them to do so.

Lets say your contract ends on 21 Sep. I would set up an eBay Auction stating "Unlocked iPhone" and set the auction starting on 15 Sep for 7 days. This way, by the time your auction ends, you will be able to have the phone unlocked and sold. Then, when you get your new iPhone, mail out the one you just sold.
