Will Wi-Fi work if plans frozen?
So I have an iPhone 5 and am going to Okinawa, Japan on military orders in a few days so therefore will be going to Verizon and putting my phone plan on hold so I'm not paying for a phone I can't really use. With my plan on hold will I still be able to use my iPhones Wi-Fi and such? Basically will it be like an iPod touch or will it be completely useless and can't even listen to music out of it.

The Wi-Fi on your iPhone is separate than your acutall phone plan.
I'm from Texas, and moved to Virginia due to the army. I had to deactivate my phone due to Deployment.
I've been using my iPhone since I've gotten here, all I had to do is connect to the Wi-Fi! And I could text friends and Family who had iPhones - - Surf the web, and use all my apps!

But it seems that there are more recommendations to go for globe iphone plans. What's wrong with Smart? Which is more advisable for first timers in mobile plans?
- My iphone is frozen, how do i fix it? So my iphone is frozen on the call ended screen and i can't turn it off because the lock button is broken and it won't do anything if a press it. I have tried pressing the home button repeatedly and it won't go back. How can i fix this? (btw my iphone is the 3gs)
