Yes. Just make sure it can handle SIM cards (GSM) and not CDMA. Use your IMEI number and have it unlocked with iTunes with someone who will charge you like $2.50 to do it. Swift unlocks is good.
You should use websites like http://www.cellsunlock.com, they unlock the phones safely and most important it is a factory unlock, many others say they factory unlock it but most of them are just spams
