Windows 7 laptop wireless connection problem
I restored my computer a day ago because it was bringing the blue screen of death. After the restore, when I logged on and tried to connect to the internet it says no network connection. "The laptop will access the internet with a wired connection only. It now indicates there are no wireless networks to join even though" there's a modem in my house which i can connect to through my iphone.
You need to install the wireless card drivers for your laptop. They obviously weren't included in the default Windows set. Use a program like Speccy to find out what kind of card you have, then go to the Downloads & Support website for your wireless card manufacturer, download the drivers to a USB on a computer that does have internet access, then install them on your laptop.
Is there perhaps a little orange light on one of the function keys? F12 perhaps? If so, press it, and it should turn blue. That is the toggle from wireless to not wireless on many W7 laptops.
Do you have Wi-Fi converted on? Have you examined System Administrator to see if your wi-fi adapter has a driver? The process for you ruing Wi-Fi on is different for every design, so you'll have to study your customer information - I guarantee it won't give you leprosy! To examine the car owner, just click Start and right-click Pc, then just click Qualities. Click System Administrator and look for the access that says System plugs. Select the pointer to the remaining and look to see if
there's a! Or? Next to it. If so, you need to obtain the appropriate car owner from your producer.

- Wireless internet connection won't work on any device? My broadband connection works just fine, but the wireless connection won't work. All the devices I;ve tried are two laptops (Vaio) an iPad, and three iPhone 5's. When this happens, I usually just turn the router of and on again, but that won't work.
