Windows 8 Nokia Lumia 920 - reviews please?

I currently own an iPhone 4S and have been with Apple for many years now starting with the 3GS. I want a change due to ridiculous price increases and just wanting something completely different.

I'm interested in the Nokia Lumia 920 Windows 8 phone. Can anybody offer any reviews on this? I'm nervous to completely change my mobile after so many years!

I had the Lumia 900 Windows 7 after an Iphone 4, and although completely different phones the Marketplace is not that great with Nokia. They have good camera's and are fun in many ways. After 10 months it had a bad glitch, every time I made a call it blacks out and I couldn't hang up. Very embarrassing if it went to voice mail sometimes would call them for ages! I went back to Apple.

To the best of my knowledge after nokia1020, 1520, lumin920 has the best unique design, performance, features, and other qualified qualities+support of MS these days. If you like it, go for it?!

I don't own a Windows phone but one of my friends had a lot of grief with theirs, which I think was a Nokia Lumia something or other. It was OK for a few months and then all of the sudden it would completly die but the battery claimed to be over half full. Also on occasion, apps would crash out complelty or sometimes freeze the entire device, and need to restart or recover the phone.

If I was to move away from iOS I'd switch over to Android and get a Samsung Galaxy S4 or Sony Xperia Z1 personally; but there are loads of good Android phones to suit all budgets.

The lack of choice of apps on the Windows platform will be the deal breaker after coming from the iPhone.

I need help deciding, I like how the Lumia has wireless charging and comes in a variety of colors, also has NFC and a better camera than the iPhone. I already have an iPod touch and I know my way around it. Also the iPhone has more apps that I would use. I plan on buying a Refurb, 2 year contract. I'd like to not have to spend 200$ for case phone and maybe an extra charging accessory. If your an windows or apple fanboy please don't respond, I want unbiased opinions…
  • What's better out of an iphone 5, nokia lumia 920 or a galaxy s3? I'm considering swapping my iphone 5 for a lumia because the iphone 5's are just rubbish, and after previously having the original samsung galaxy, i'm not a fan of the galaxy's. At all. i've been researching reviews on the phones but they are all moxed reviews. to hear from someone who has ACTUALLY experienced all phones and knows what they are talking about would be appreciated! don't want opinions from people who jist go on hear say!

I'll put a case on my iPhone 4 to match whatever I'm wearing for the days. I want the black one because it's a neutral color, and I can changes the "livetiles" to whatever color I'm wearing. I love red but, I'm worried that if I get it then it'll clash with the other colors I wear. Any advice?
