With a moble hotspot, does the connected device work better if the phone isn't using service?
I'm trying to watch Netflix on my computer with my iPhone's hotspot but it keeps stopping to load. Is this because I'm also on my phone?
Correct. If you are NOT using the phone, the device connected to your HotSpot, will work better.
- Why can't my desktop connect to our Wi-Fi at home but does connect to moble hotspot? Suddenly my desktop won't connect to our Wi-Fi. All other devices such as laptops, phones and tablets connects just fine. I tried connecting it to my iphone's hotspot and it works. I tried to unistall and reinstall the wireless adapter but still won't work. I also tried to reboot the router and even tried to change the channel but still failed to make it work. Do you have any other way to make it work? I have windows 7 on my desktop.

- Computer connected to iPhone hotspot, but no internet access? Hi. I have an HP Pavilion dv4 running Windows Vista and an iPhone 5. I used to be able to hotspot no problem. Recently, my computer has been connecting to the hotspot, but the little Earth on the two computers in the bottom right corner does not appear and I don't have internet. Also, the computer has no problem connecting to the internet elsewhere and I can connect other devices to my hotspot no problem. Could anyone tell me why this is happening?
