Within an iphone app can you delete a user permanently?
When making an iphone app, and you need to ban a user, is it possible to ban them permanently? Like via their iPhone ID or something like that?
There's a person that is making an app and one of his problems is that he can't really ban anyone, he says, because they can easily make a new account.
See, the problem with banning a UDID or MAC address is that jailbreakers can easily change these things. If the app works by connecting to a server, you could try blacklisting IP's, stopping them from connecting to the server, and blocking common proxy IP's to stop the person(s) from using proxies to connect (though this will not work if it is a local app). Another way would be to blacklist an itunes account, so that if someone signs into their Itunes account in the app (like through gamecenter or IAP) then the app will make itself unusable (works with local and server). There aren't really very many ways to ban someone's IPhone, however, but those are some possible ways to ban someone who isn't jailbroken/very bright.
- Why would an iPhone user suddenly be unable to text another i phone user? My husband and I have both have iPhones (through Verizon if it matters) and for the last week anytime he's tried to text me it doesn't go through.
- PERMANENTLY delete apps off iphone 4? So i went to the purchases list in itunes store and deleted all the ones that i didn't want but when i look at how much space all my apps are taking up it is still up to 6.2 GB of room. I only have about 6 apps on my phone now that i actually use. So i want all that room back. I can still see them on my phone apps when you can check or uncheck mark them.
- Mortal Kombat X (Mobile): Is it possible for an android user to play against an iPhone user? I recently got it and I was wondering if we can play against each other that way because I want to play against a friend but don't know how?
- Is there a FREE app/software that I can download to delete my iphone data permanently? I was thinking of selling my iPhone 5s to buy a new phone. I know that restoring factory settings and deleting all files are just not enough.
