Would 2GB of Data per month work for someone that doesn't use their iPhone much?
I'm asking this question again in hopes that it makes more sense than my first question.
I just got a new-used iPhone and I don't use it that much. A plan hasn't been started yet and this is my first smartphone, so I was wondering if 2GB data a month would work for me once I get a plan? I know this question sounds silly for most people but like I said, I don't CONSTANTLY use my phone! I'm always doing stuff online but I do that through my laptop instead of my phone because it's easier to use the websites on a computer than a mobile device. I'm also not someone that uses Twitter or Instagram or other social media sites except for Facebook every now and then. I also don't stream stuff like music, the radio or whatever. It's just not my thing.
I mostly want the data just for something to do during my lunch break at work. Most things I already do is what I plan to use only for Wi-Fi. I will most likely play some games, watch a couple YouTube videos, and surf the web a little during my lunch. I know streaming videos can take up data quickly (if you constantly do that) which is why I wasn't sure how well this plan would work for me.
Anyone have any advise for me? If you think 2GB isn't enough, then what should I use for data that's not connected to Wi-Fi? I will get more GBs of data if needed but I just don't want unlimited data. Please be nice otherwise your going to be wasting your time. Believe me, I know better.
If you are in Wi-Fi most of the time, it's ok

My husband and I went to Consumer Cellular, and we get unlimited talk and text, and 1G of data. Since there's Wi-Fi all over ( and we use protection on unknown Wi-Fi) we use data not so much - and sharing 1G is more than enough. In rare instances when we're on vacation and using it more - GPS, for example, l or VOIP - then we can easily bump it up, and return after we get home. Do not commit to anything more than you need - and find a flexible plan that allows you to adjust. BTW - for the 2 of us, we pay, with fees and taxes, just under $50 a month for BOTH phones. Yes, there are super-cheap pay-as-you-go plans, but we're good with what we have.
- What would be the average cost per month for a family plan on AT&T? For 2 people with smart phones, one with an iphone and one with a droid, and we would both have the lowest internet cost (I believe its 25 dollars per phone). Also this wouldn't include the actual cost of buying the phones, I'm just talking about per month.
- Is 2gb of data per month any good? I'm upgrading from an iphone 4S with unlimited data to either a 6 or 5S with 2GB of data and i wanna know if it'll be good enough considering i use twitter and instagram and the internet everyday? I download a lot of apps and stream music everyday online from soundcloud and itube. Will 2 GB be good enough?
- Is 2gb of data on an iphone enough for me in a month? Hi. I'm getting the iphone 4 with verizon and the plan I want to get is the 2gb one. I know how to close apps but I also tweet alot & I like to get on instagram. Will this be enough?
- Is 2gb data a month enough for iPhone 5? Baring in mind I don't have Wi-Fi, and I already have apps from my laptop so I won't have to download them. It will mostly be for Instagram, twitter Facebook, tumblr and photo sharing, maybe the odd music download from tubbidy too.
