Would anyone buy a book about this topic?
My life has been abusive since I can remember and I want to write a book about it, do people buy books like that? It basically starts off as my childhood memories if my oarents fighting, then us leaving when dads at work then my father attempting to kidnap me then being returned to him when he won custody, then years if abuse that carried in into my relationships. Would that be the kind if book publishers would be interested in?

I write, only published poet, but I'm hoping to get a series of children books written to help kids face what's out there. To give other examples how to live a good life. Its a balancing act of becoming an adult, but understanding there are limits to reach those adult things. Now I'm sorry you were abused, so was I. As for writing, 1st write about what you know, and 2nd write for yourself. To calm hurts feelings, to learn to let go of the anger for being mistreated, and hopefully to forgive the person who hurt you. That one is the hardest thing to do. But it is as much for you as it maybe for the other person. If after you finish recovering, share it with others. Thousands of books are written, each year, and yes about some form of abuse. Go into this after healing yourself, to help just one person. If you can help others even better. The ending could be apart of your healing or actually being healed, enough to move forward and not let the abuser and the abuse defind you, or hold you back, from having a happy life. If you write it, I would read it. Of course I would want my book signed just incase Oprah puts it on her Book club list.
