Would buying this laptop be a good idea?
So, i'm thinking about purchasing a 2008 MacBook Air. Yes, I know. It's old. I've found a couple of places that sell some in very good condition. If I get it, would it be a good idea to take all of my music and photos, and belongings from my desktop computer, and put them in the 2008 MacBook Air? I will still keep the desktop, because it is new, and very good. My family uses the desktop, and I would just like a laptop for myself. Would the 2008 MacBook Air be reliable for me to entrust with all of my music without it crashing and never turning back on? Could I also use it to sync my iPhone(5), and iPad(2), or would it be too old?
It might be a little slow but yes macs are pretty reliable and they don't break down.
- Would it be any good buying an iPhone 4s? I have asked my mom and dad if i can get an iPhone and they said maybe, but i don't know if i should get one or another smartphone. Can you get facetime on an iphone? Which is the best contract? How much is just the phone?
- Would it be a good idea to sell my iphone 4? I have an white iphone 4 that I've had since summer 2012, but stopped using because the bill was too high in may 2013. I was wondering, would it be a bad idea to sell the iphone? Someone could jailbreak or unlock it.
- Is buying apple stocks a good idea right now? The stock price is 615 and the divident yield is 1.75%. The iphone 5 is coming out so apple stocks will rise, so is it a good idea to buy apple stocks right now?
- Is buying a broke iPhone 5s a good idea? I have an Android and i hate it but since iPhones are so expensive on the Straighttalk service, i don't have enough money to buy a brand new one. My question is: Would it be a good idea to buy a verizon iPhone with a cracked screen so that its cheaper, get the screen fixed, and then put it on Straighttalk's service?
