Would home depot accept this?

I lost the key to my bedroom door, but if i take a picture of the key hole of the door with my iphone, do you think theyll be able to make a new copy of the key

We fix the keys and the 3 holes our customers companions and maids you know what i'm saying dude just take a picture of the key hole and her hole and presto the home depots will fix it all up for you and make it good as new you see? Take picture in exactly 240p so that way they can see what's going on and make sure to shake the camera aroudn to give them a challenge because they liek challenges like watching shaking ghost videos and obvious cgi on the interwebs you see home depots like challenge so bring them something and share you holes with them otherwise they will get boreod and died okay? Not unless it's a cross section of the keyhole. The way the lock works is that the notches in the key correspond to varying lengths of pins inside the lock. They push the pins the right amount to make them all line up and no longer block the turn. They unfortunately probably can't do anything for you if they don't know what the key is supposed to look like

No, That Technology has not gotten there yet, I hope it never does otherwise i can go around having keys to anyones house with a picture. Just replace the lock, trust me its cheaper. But of course you will need to get it opened first of course.

A HIGH quality photo of the keyhole MAY be enough to find the proper blank, but not to properly cut a key. Home Depot won't even TRY to find the blank from a photo of the keyhole.

Technically, most bedroom doors are passage locks. Most codes do not permit a keyed lock on a bedroom unless it is in a rooming-house or dormitory application. And, in that case, the RA or house manager should have a key that you may copy.

But, if it is a passage lock, a simple thin nail or screwdriver will open it.
