Would I be allowed to take a washing up basket on the national express coach as hand luggage?

It will have 10 tops and jeans inside it will it be allowed I'll post a pic of the basket.

There's no such thing as a "washing up" basket. That's a laundry basket.

"Washing up" in the UK means washing the dishes after a meal. You don't use a basket for that.

If your basket will fit comfortably in the tiny narrow rack above your head, then yes. Otherwise you may have to put it into the baggage compartment under the bus, where people put quite large suitcases and prams and golf clubs.
