Would i get a new iPhone 5c/s if I returned my iPhone 5?
So I have an iphone 5, with a dead pixel, I'm still within applecare's 1 year warranty plus I have an extra year that I purchased from my provider. If I returned the iPhone due to it being "defective" (the dead pixel) would I receive a new iPhone due to them having flushed their stock of 5's? Could I do it now or wait another year?
No, they will simply fix it, or give you a new one. Call the Apple Genius Bar. The number is located on their website. If everything is within warranty and you did not cause the dead pixel and it is their manufacturing defect, they will give you a new IPhone 5 NOT IPhone 5S/C. However, you can pay the around $200 dollars and they will give you the new IPhone 5S. Also, if you caused the dead pixel, you must pay for it to be fixed. You do not get a new one. Hope this helped.
