Would upgrading to iOS6 on an iPhone 4 be at all benificial?

Seems like all the perks are for the newer models. Would I gain anything from upgrading?

I have an ipod touch 4th gen with ios 5. I don't think ill be updating to 6 because the maps are all screwed up and plus theyve discontinued alot of the features from the previous ios versions. Also once you do it you can't go back to 5 so id play it safe and stick with what works.

I'm on my iPhone 4 right now and it has iOS 6 on it. There are some good perks about it:

- nice weather app upgrade (image)
- Landscape safari full screen (image)
- image

- more stuff! I don't know all of the upgrades from 5.1.1 to 6.0 because I only just got this new iPhone 4 on 6.0 already. Used to be on my old iPod touch 2g 4.2.1. You can look up videos on YouTube summoning up all the most important new features.

But here is no untethered jailbreak yet for any device on iOS 6.

  • Would I be pleased upgrading from an iPhone 4S to iPhone 6? Now that the craze has died down I would like to hear from people who have an iPhone 6 (and it'd be awesome to hear from those who have upgraded from a 4s) for honest opinions and reviews. Any details provided would be appreciated because I'm highly contemplating purchasing a 6 but I want opinions from actual owners first!
  • Will I still have all of my apps after I upgrade my iPhone to a iOS6? I have an iPhone 4 and I want to upgrade it to a 6 but I don't wanna loose my apps. Will my apps still be on my phone after I upgrade it?
  • Upgrading iphone 4S to iphone 5? I live in melbourne and am on a 24 month contract with optus, i have 14 months lefts on my contract and i really want to upgrade to the iphone 5.is there any way i can upgrade without having to pay out the remaining 14 months of my contract?
  • Upgrading iPhone 4 to iPhone 5? I currently own an iPhone 4 on a $69 plan with Telstra which began in approximately June 2011. Obviously the date is now almost November 2012. I'm really keen to upgrade to the iPhone 5 and I was wondering if this is at all possible. I've heard of people upgrading without having to wait the 24 months or whatever. Will I have to wait the rest of the time period or can I upgrade now?
