Would you rather have an Android phone or an iPhone?

Windows phones are no longer being made, so Android phones and iPhones are basically the only smartphone categories there are now. I think they're both very good, although iPhones are overpriced, so I would choose iPhone because I prefer it, unless I'm on a budget.

IPhones are "overpriced" because it has the better quality than most flagship smartphones.

I only care whether the phone has a headphone jack.

All i ever use is Android phones

I saw a coworker or two have major issues with androids, so have never wanted to buy or own one.

No question I go with Android.

1- there are several companies making Android phone. Competition is good as it increases choices and option, and lower prices
2- being a part time app developer myself, the problem is that Apple forces you to develop app using their own programming language, using their dedicated environment running on a Mac computer (which are also way over priced) and that can only be distributed though their own app store which you have to pay a yearly fee of $100 just to be allowed to submit apps. And they take 30% of all sales of apps. With Android, you can always allow side loading, and distribute apps outside of Play Google.

Apple does not play nice. Ever. We've seen how they tricked their products so that they would slowdown, to force you to upgrade to their latest model. You buy an iPhone? Not really, you buy the right to use it. Apple can remote do anything they want with *their* phone.
Apple's are nice and slick, but over priced and overrated.

I would go for an Android one as Iphones are costly.

  • Would you rather have the Iphone 4 or 5? I have the 4 wishing and crying because I don't have the 5 @alexander YOU DON'T NEED TO RUB IT IN MY FACE YOU LIL ***
  • Would you rather have an iphone or ipad? I'm thinking of getting an apple product (not a laptop or ipod) and i'm torn between the iphone and ipad. If you've had both or any of these, what are the good and bad points of the product? What would you recommend?
  • Would you rather have an iPad mini or iPhone 5s? I currently have a Galaxy S3 and I'm not in contract with any providers. My choices are to sign up with a provider and pick up the iPhone 5s or to bring my S3 to T-Mobile and pick up the iPad. Both definitely seem to have pros and cons.
  • Would you rather have a new iPhone or $180? I cracked my iPhone 4 a couple days ago. My brother said that if I babysit his kids from Monday to Friday, he'll give me his old iPhone 4 which looks brand new. He also said that if I didn't want to eat his iPhone, he would give me $180 instead ($30 a day). I'm leaving for college in a month and I want as much money as I can possibly get. But, I have OCD and I absolutely despise the cracks on my phone. What would you rather pick? The money or the iPhone?
