4G LTE on iPhone 5 On Verizon?
I got a iPhone 5 on Verizon and my city supports it but I'm not getting any LTE. Why
might this be? Any ideas
When there's no service area for your LTE around you it will revert to 3g, also depending on what kind of contract you have or plan you are using sometimes they give you 4g for a certain amount of time or data usage per month then it reverts to 3g in order to let you "test" out 4g so you can pay extra and buy it instead of 3g. There's probably a site that will show you verizon's 4g coverage per location, sometimes if the signal is weak it will just stick to 3g since it is easier and more common to find a signal for.
- Will Metro PCS New Sim card for their 4G LTE work on my Iphone 4 thats unlocked? I have an iphone 4, iphone 4s and a 5 now and i know Metro pcs has been using sim cards for their 4G network instead of the CDMA and hence using the sim cards for service, so would i be able to use metro pcs on my iphone thats unlocked? On any of those?
- Will a Verizon iPhone 5 have LTE service if used on Straight Talk? Just a quick question for iPhone experts. I recently decided I want an iPhone 5 and have a friend who raves about his s3 on Straight Talk. I have the opportunity to buy a Verizon iPhone 5 from a friend for cheap, but i'd like to know if I will receive LTE service when using it on Straight Talk. If not, I will just go with a Straight Talk iPhone from their website.
- Will a Verizon 4g lte sim work in a cdma verizon iphone 4s? I want to buy a iphone 4s online and my carrier is Verizon. If I bought a cdma Verizon one, and put my 4g lte sim into it, will I have my number and all that stuff and will it work?
- Why is my iPhone 5 saying I either have 3G or LTE? I bought the iPhone 5(: I know it's a 4G phone, but why does it either say 3G or just LTE at the top? I don't get it? Occasionally it will have 4G LTE but not in the last few days…
