About the iPhone 4 hotspot option for laptop Internet access?

Since I have unlimited data, the option to hook my phone to the laptop via USB cable, for Internet connection, an included option without being charged for the data usage? I don't have available Internet connection @home so wondering if I can set up the hotspot connection without paying sprint extra for data I already have unlimited.

Sprint's towers are few and far between so you probably not get any reception at home with that either. So in theory yes, but you have to try it yourself.

  • My laptop says the Wi-Fi connection is connected to the internet, but has no access? I'm using a Windows 7 laptop and I can't connect to the internet, while my iPhone and mom's laptop has internet access. I have tried resetting the router, used system restore and virus scans but there were no results. Does anyone knows how to fix this issue?
  • My laptop says 'limited connectivity' to my Internet access? My mother just recently bought five new iPhones, one for each of us in our family. We have Comcast Xfinity as our Internet data plan, and I'm wondering if the arrival of our new iPhones took up the limitation of Internet access in our house. Before we had iPhones, we just had three computers and an iPad in our house.So, is it the iPhones that took up most of our Internet connections, and if so, how do you expand the limitation of devices for our Internet connection?
  • My Iphone is not letting me access the internet or internet based apps? I have an Iphone 5. Never had any issues but now it won't connect to the internet or any apps. It does the same thing it does when I have no service (just has that little circle symbol that means it's trying to get through). Orginally, I thought it must be a universal problem but everyone else has service and they are in the same location as me. Also I always use my phone here with no problems. I have tried turning it off and on again but nothing.
  • Is the personal hotspot option on the iphone safe? I just learned i can use my iphone as a hotpot and i freaked out! Apparently you go settings, general, network, the it says personal hotspot! So is it safe? More importantly does it cost a lot or free?
