Any advice about getting a good lifespan out of my iPhone battery?
I've had an iPhone 5 for almost a year and I'm really worried I've ruined the battery. Nothing odd has happened to it but I just think I charged it overnight one too many times so I'd like to… Well reverse the damage.
I know to run it all the way down to 0 (I have just always done that) and I charge it to 100% but I'm worried I ruined the battery bc I would charge overnight. Also i use about 80-90% in a day sending a lot of texts ha, using the Internet, maybe an app or two, and then listening to music for probably 3 hours.
Question: What things do you do to protect your battery's life? Any advice welcome but hey the more expertise the better.
Follow-up question: Given that sort of activity is the battery's drainage (80-90) unusual? Or is my battery okay?
If you have lots of apps on your device then it's usual to drain that much of battery in a day. And as tips to save your battery and take it long way to enhance it's life, just don't let it charged overnight. A phone's battery just charges upto 100% in approx 45-50 minutes. So make sure you don't keep it on charge whole night.
- What is the approximate lifespan of an iPhone 4? What is the approximate amount of time that Apple will continue support for the iPhone 4? Is it reasonable that the device will remain non-obsolete for the next two years?
- Lost iPhone, some advice on getting a new one? I lost my iPhone so it bugs me how I even gotta get a new one from so many things i had in the phone. But I suspended the account and then I was thinking on getting a new one from the store company. I have a plan… Would they make me pay the same amount I got the phone at first? Or more? For a replacement, cus I lost mine.
- Is there any way of getting iPhone 5 for 199$ and getting rid of the contract? I just want the phone and wanna get rid of the contract without paying for it. I know how to unlock the phone so that's not a problem.
- Iphone 5 is out of charge too fast! Any advice? Its going out of charge within 3 hours, so I have to constantly have it on charge! What's wrong with it? I have already tried all those tips to reduce brightness, close apps etc but nothing Could it be due to old charger? Or that my phone is old?
