Any recommendation for a solid car charger?

Going to take a graduation trip with my friends. We're all phone addicted people, so I'm wondering if I can get a car charger to prevent our phones from battery draining. Anyone ever used any cheaper charger, say, under $30 that can charge both iphones and Android phones?

I bought a plug in for around $18 a few years back that has a 3 prong outlet and a USB on it that fits in the car lighter, when I go on road trips we hook a power strip up to it and charge tablets, laptops, phones, ipods, you name it! I got mine at Walmart but here is one on Amazon so you know what to look for.

I prefer avantek. It looks cool in my car in the dark and glows a nice crispy blue! I like that I can use this for anything with a plug-in for the lighter, plus it has more USB ports on it for my phone, or mp3 player.

  • Your Japanese radio recommendation? To practice listening to Japanese I listen to Japanese talk radio. My favorite station that I found was Sea Wave 76.2 FM Iwaki. But now, that station doesn't work with my iphone anymore. Can a Japanese person please recommend to me a Japanese Talk radio station? I don't want a lot of music. Just Japanese talking.
  • Where can i find solid iphone cases for DIY cases? I don't want them in bulk because i don't want to spend that much, as i'm just starting. But i can't find simply solid colored cases! I've found clear but no cheap hard plastic snap on cases. White or Black is fine too!
  • On KIK messenger if someone is still logged on their app but has the KIK window minimized and I send a message, will it go right to solid D? I have KIK messenger and if I send a message to a particular person with an Iphone who always has their phone on and logged in (but the window closed/minimized from hitting the home button in spite of them still being logged in), would it still turn to a solid D instead of a faded D because they're still logged onto KIK but their app window is minimized? Is faded D only used if the person has KIK but is logged out?
  • How to charge my iPhone in my car without an actual car charger? I'm going on a long road trip. Since the iPhone battery doesn't usually last long, i was wondering if there's another way to charge my phone without a car charger. Because my lighter doesn't work due to a broke fuse in my fuse box… Anyway- is there any alternative to keeping my phone charged?
