Apple iCloud account got hacked or corrupted, what should I do?
I have subscribed for 1TB space on Apple iCloud in INR 650/month and using only 500GB of space. Now my iCloud Drive hacked or got corrupted and its showing more then 1.65TB space consumed. Neither my devices nor my internet speed is capable of uploading such amount of data in few minutes.
Now I'm worried of my data because I don't have any backup. I trusted the Apple iCloud for all data backup considering **my high price - low memory** Apple devices iPhone 64GB and MacBook Pro 256GB
iCloud don't even allowing me to take backup on external drives and its hampering my work and continuously showing popup to upgrade. I tried calling Apple Care but they are not giving any proper response.
I used to work for Apple Care. I'm guessing that your backups have been split. Meaning: You had a backup in the cloud and for whatever reason it created a second backup. If you go to iCloud storage you should be able to see what's in your storage.
Also, if you call AC they can look at your account and see what is going on. Worst case, you can still plug it into a computer and back it up via iTunes to your computer if you turn off iCloud backups (this does not delete existing backups).
- Will my iPhone get corrupted if I update it? My dad says my iPhone 6 will get corrupted and I'll lose everything if I update to the latest version because I'm still on iOS 8.1 and iOS 9.1 is out. Is this true? Do I have to do something special or can I just update like normal?
- What should I do if someone hacked into my Apple ID? Last night, someone went into my Apple ID. This person sent a plenty of abusive messages to my contacts. I know I didn't do it, because I was just busy watching videos while that person was sending messages. So I have blocked all my contacts to keep low from this person. Well I used to a iPod touch and I lost it last year in my school. After when I lost it, someone must have found it and went inside that account. So is there anyway I can do? I own a iPhone 6S btw
- What free program do I use to recover some corrupted pictures in my computer? I had transferred pictures from my memory card and iphone 5 in a USB and somehow that USB got a virus. The pictures taken from the memory card are corrupted and do not open, the iphone pictures in my USB just plain vanished. Is there any way I can retrieve the pictures?
- I think my psn account has been hacked So i was gone for the weekend and on the weekend i went to my cousins house and i have them as friends on psn and they told and showed me that i just got offline then they went to their friends list and it said that i last signed in 40 mins ago and i haven't got on in a day. And i have a iphone app called psn bubbies where you can sign into your account and see your friends but i try to sign in with the app but it still said that i was offine on my cousins friends list
