Apple iPhone Internet History?
Around a year or so ago I noticed that my Safari browser history was no longer recording. I recently upgraded to iPhone 5S, but the problem still persists. I was wondering if anyone knew how to turn history back on? For example, when I visit a website then look at browser history, the browser history is blank.
It is likely that you have private browsing on. Since you probably have ios 7, this is very easy and simple to fix. Go into safari, press the little icon that looks like an open book, then press history. In the bottom left corner there's a button that says private. Press it. Now go to a random website and see if it recorded in your history. If it did, your problem is solved.
- Is there an app to trace internet history on an iPhone? I'm not trying to block websites, I'm just trying to find out what sites have been visited without having to go through the browsing history on the phone. Is there an app for that?
- IPhone internet history same as Laptop? I was just browsing the internet this afternoon on my laptop and then just now I was on the internet on my iPhone and the suggestions that come up for recently searched stuff on Google was exactly the same as on my laptop. Word for word. How can this be? I'm guessing it is to do with my Google Account being the same on both devices and maybe that has picked it up… But if not, surely this is an insanely obvious lack of privacy and confidentiality somewhere along the line?

Now, every time I type the first letter of it, that website comes into my "top hits". How do I get rid of this? I've tried deleting the history, but it doesn't work.
- How long does your iPhone internet search history stay in record? I'm with Sprint and I was wondering how long they keep your record after you disconnect with them. We were thinking of switching to another company but I'm worried about my search history record, I don't want to say why but it's bad. So do they keep it forever or like after a few years or months it gets deleted (some people say between 3-5 years and others say forever, so I'm really confused)?
