Apple unauthorized modifications replacement?
My phone is out of warranty and the screen broke so I thought I'd save money by replacing the screen myself, but that didn't work. So now I have to resort to apple out of warranty repair but realized that they don't accept iPhones that have been opened.
So my question is: how does apple know if I opened my phone and messed with the insides? I know it's wrong to try to trick apple but I'm poor and I need to fix my phone
What leads you to believe that they don't accept iPhones that have been opened? Apple doesn't turn down any opportunity to extract money from a customer.
- Will apple give me a replacement phone iphone 5? I lost my iphone or it was stolen last night i only just got a replacement one after dropping it in water will they give me another replacement one for 270? Its still under warranty? so devastated.
- UnAuthorized charges to my bank account? Someone got my bank info and charged $1500 from my bank account for my insurance policy. They went through the geico express pay and entered all my info. They used there cell phone to do it. Can I do anything legal about this? Can they track the phone? Or can the cops? Can they find out who is registrered to the iPhone? This had gone way too far!
- Replacement Pending iPhone. Replacement phone or fix? My iphone is being repaired and on the apple service page it says 'iPhone replacement pending' and below it says repair complete… I was wondering if this meant that my phone has been repaired or if Apple are sending a replacement iphone different than the original.
- Replacement iphone arrived, apple forgot my broken? Apple replaced my iPhone 5 with a new one after I realised it was broken out the box. But after they delivered my new one, hey said "we will collect your old one in two days" it's no five days later and still nothing:/ should I wait or could I sell it in time for Christmas? Anyone else had this problem
