Are iphone 5 chargers useless?
I plugged mine in and there was a burning smell from it went to take it out off the phone and it was burning hot… So got a cheap one put that in and it charged up but said this charger or accessory isn't supported for this device. Or something along those lines.it had the charging next to the battery but the percentage was going down pretty quick. Does anyone else have this problem?
They have a recall for most of Europe's chargers. 5 was the first to go with the lightning cable and away from the 30 pin dock connector. Being a 'new' technology, the knock-offs you buy aren't as good as you might think. That's why you see the error for non support. Try a different plug with the original next time you charge or break down and buy another cord. See Apple's website for charger replacement program. Maybe you can qualify. Best luck.
- Why do Iphone chargers (especially iphone 5) not last very long? I can never keep a charger more than a couple months without it breaking or ceasing functionality. It doesn't matter if I'm using the charger mostly in the office, in my car, at home, etc. Is this a scheme by manufacturers to keep charger revenue flowing or is this the universe's way of telling me I use my phone too much?
- Way to delete useless pre-installed iPhone 4S apps? Alright, so I finally got my iPhone 4S (i know, not up to date, but it will do! And there are pre-instaled apps that I wish to get rid of to save data, save battery life, etc. The apps are stocks, maps, and weather. - My iPhone X has been hacked is my phone useless now? My ex stole my Apple ID password and security questions and has changed them. On top of that, she has locked my apps such as my calendar and notes. I can't access nothing without putting the Apple ID PW in. Is my phone no good now? Do I have to buy another?
- Is an iPhone useless without a data plan that has internet? I was planning on buying an unlocked iPhone from Craigslist and just inserting my sim card in but i would like to know whether it's worth it or not. I will have access to the internet (through wi-fi) for the iPhone, just not a data plan that includes internet. i want an iPhone because my current phone is crapping out on me and i need a new music device.
