AT&T breaking contract

I'm on AT&T and I don't have a smart phone but when my contract runs out in 3 months I'm getting and IPhone 5. I heard about a deal where you could break your contract 4 months before it expires, is that true? Also, if that is true would I have to pay the full price of an IPhone or would I pay the price with a contract?

You can break your contract whenever, but you do have to pay ALOT. You would have to pay full price of phone no matter what. If you break contract though then it might be $50-$100 more. You should just wait three months for your contract to expire

  • Will buying an iphone in contract and unlocking cause contract immediate fee? If i buy a iphone for example on att contract and unlock it, will att charge me what's left on the contract or will i just go by like nothing happened and free of contract? I haven't seen this but it makes quite a bit of sense for companies… Not sure if they do however.
  • Why does my apple cable keeps breaking and how to prevent it from breaking? I had this broken cable for my iPhone I had it for 9 months and it's broken so I bought another one last Saturday and I saw this message again and I only had it for 2 days why does it keep breaking and how do I prevent it from breaking? I want my cable to last for long
  • Which is better iphone 5s plan, contract or no contract? I want to get an iphone 5s but i don't know if it's better to get a contract plan or a no contract plan. I would be having to pay every month with a contract and that's annoying. Yet with a contract i wouldn't have to pay that much for the phone would i? If i got the non contract i would get to pay the bill when i want but i would have to pay full price for the phone.
  • What's better contract or no contract? The 2 year contract is iPhone 5 for 149.99 one time plus 51 dollars a month. The no contract is iPhone 5 for 579.99 one time or down payment of 99.99 and 20 bucks a month plus 42.50 a month?
