Best smartwatch that works with iPhones?

I know that the Apple Watch is the number one answer but I was wondering if there's any cheaper watches, preferably under $50 that are compatible with the iPhone functions. I understand that as long as you have a Bluetooth phone, all of the watches will pair but you won't be able to send and receive texts and some other things. Most of the watches I keep seeing work better with android.

Here is the watch that I have had my eyes on, since it is simple & cheap. But not all of the functions work with an iPhone.

Any watches that work very well with iPhone?

See this is what I hate about apple.
They make it all biased and everything, unlike android which is open source. Apple kust wants you to pay 500 dollars for a watch.
There's no watch that will be fully compatible with all apple features except the apple watch.

Any of the "Pebble" watches.

You can receive texts, see phone caller IDs, email alerts & pretty much any other alert that would be shown on the phone. It also controls the iphone music app and various other stuff.

There are thousands of different watchfaces that can be loaded to a watch and also thousands of apps for just about anything imaginable. (Depending on the watch type, you can have 8 or 16 loaded at any time).

They start from roughly $150

We have five in the family, they are brilliant devices.
(You will not get anything worth having for $50).

  • Would I be able to use a full version of Android Wear for a smartwatch if I jailbreak my iPhone? Currently, there are many smartwatch options, but outside a couple options, including the Apple Watch, they can work with iOS, but it's severely limited. I want a smartwatch, without any limitations that I d get using iOS. If I jailbreak the phone, would I have the same problems?
  • Which network works the best with the iPhone 5? I'm currently with T-Mobile, but switching to a new network soon. Which of these networks works the best with the iPhone 5: AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon? And what makes it better than the others?
  • Smartwatch for iPhone under $100? Father's Day is coming up and I really want to get my dad a smartwatch. I have an $100 amazon gift card that I want to use on his present so please have a link to the product on amazon. I'd prefer if it is under $100 but the highest I can go is $130. Black color is preferred but as long as it's waterproof, works with iPhone, and receives texts and emails, I'm fine with another color.
  • Silence on pebble smartwatch? I'm thinking about getting a pebble smartwatch, mainly because they are really cool but also because it would help out in my daily life. The one thing I can't seem to find anywhere though, is if it has a silence option. (I have an iPhone 5s) I know the watch vibrates when you have a call or text, but if I'm in class would my teachers be able to hear the vibration, or is it pretty subtle? If there was a silence option that would be great.
