Both new and old IPhone are in service?
Today I got my new iPhone 6s before this I had an iPhone 5c. I transferred everything from my iPhone 5c to my desktop (not iTunes) and then turned it off. I then followed the instructions on activating the iPhone 6s, I have Verizon by the way. So after all was complete I had service on the IPhone 6s and realized I wasn't receiving any texts or phone calls. After a few hours I turned on my old IPhone 5c which i came to realize still had service and all the text/phone calls I received appeared. I'm very confused both phones can make calls and send texts. Is there steps I missed? Also on the iPhone 6s it's showing an email as the contact through text how can someone remove this? Please advise
Did you follow the directions that Verizon gave you when you were transferring service to your new phone?
I would contact Verizon. They are the only ones who can fix this problem with your phone.
- Water damage and opening iPhone 5c both puts it out of warranty, so do both? If having water damage in your iPhone 5c means you aren't covered by warranty, is it acceptable to open it and try to fix it as opening it also means it isn't covered by warranty. Therefore if you can't fix it yourself, apple can still take it out of warranty?
- New iPhone won't get service but my older iPhone gets service? I just got a 6s and went to the Verizon store to get my upgrade. I used to have a 5s. My 5s is still getting service and my 6s is not. I turned off cellular data on my 5s and and made sure both data and LTE were working on my 6s but it still isn't working.
- New iPhone and laptop, old comp and iphone.transfer? I have a new laptop and iPhone 5 and i want to transfer everything from iTunes on my old computer/old iPhone 3. What do I do?
- I bought a new iphone 4 but it still has service from old user? Hi! I bought an iphone off this guy. His service is still on it, and he told me to cancel it and put my phone service on it. The acount isn't in his name and he doesn't know the information. I know you probably think it was stolen, but it wasn't. Is there any way i can cancel it on my own? Like reset the phone or something and make it brand new?
