Brand New Iphone 5c Stolen. Is there a way to find it?

I bought a new-used iphone 5c off of amazon from a 3rd party seller. It was listed as delivered by via 2 day shipping by Fedex on my front porch but when I checked it wasn't there. I called Fedex and they found the driver and he confirmed he left it on the porch.

The phone was new and hadn't been activated yet. I live in a trailer park so odds are one of my neighbors stole it. My question is can I somehow track the iphone down if the thief activates it? I can email the person who sold it to me and they can give me its serial number. I know the answer is probably not but I'm in pain that an almost new $250 phone was stolen from me after I saved up for a year to buy it.

Added (1). My problem is solved. I found the Fedex guy who delivered my package. He was really nice and drove to my house and realized he delivered my package to one of my neighbors 3 doors down. He is trying to get in touch with them and if he can't get my package back he'll provide me with documentation he was at fault so I can get my money back from either Fedex or Amazon.

Now way to track it at this point. But if I were you i would contact the seller, get the ESN/IMEI and contact the carrier it was sold through originally and get them to blacklist it.

Never have items that cost more than you can afford to lose, delivered to your home/work without a signature! This is why I have packages delivered to a local mail drop, so they get signed for and are there until I pick them up, plus they text me as soon as it arrives, so i can make arrangements to leave work a little early to pick things up, or get a friend to do it for me.

Really nothing you can do other than report it to the cops. You have no recourse with FedEx, since you agreed to delivery without a signature.

Get findmyiphone or call the carrier to track it.
