Can a unlocked verizon iPhone 4S work on straight talk?
My buddy has a verizon iPhone 4S unlocked and I want to buy it and put it on straight talk because I believe the iPhone 4S is both gsm and CDMA
Unfortunatley no not just simply getting a unlocked iphone 4S. You would need to flash it through a system that normally only stores have access to! If it takes a simcard then yes you can! Just make sure that it takes a simcard.
The Straight Talk website says that they will not allow a Verizon phone to be used for their bring your own phone service. You will need to call Straight Talk and ask them if you can use a Verizon Iphone 4 on Straight Talk or not. But according to their website, you can't.

I've purchased the BYOP kit from walmart and I know I need to use the nano sim but IIm not sure if I should use the at&t compatible SIM card or the T mobile? Or does it not matter?
