Can an aux cable be used to play pandora on any car through the cars speakers?

I want to play my music on pandora through my car speakers on the radio. I have a 2010 Volkswagen passat. I have Bluetooth but nothing else special. If I plug my iPhone into an aux cable (yes it has an aux cable button) will it play through the speakers? I do not have an iPod.

Yep, it should. As long as it has an aux port should matter what device your using, it can be a phone, mp3 player, or ipod, ect

Just a quick tip AUX cables have low sound quality CD's are the best to play off of for SQ, then USB, then AUX.

  • Why won't my AUX cable work in my car after iOS 6 update? Ever since I updated my iPhone 4S to iOS 6, I have been unable to play music in my car (Kia Soul) with the AUX cable. I currently drive a 2012 Chevrolet Malibu LT and I usually play Pandora on my iPhone via the USB out which is included in the sound systems inside the Malibu models. For a while everything played perfectly, but not it does not. When I plug it in, my car recognizes that it is plugged in and the name of the Artist and song appear on the sound system like normal. However, it only plays through the speakers on my phone. What is the problem? Should I get a different connection other than USB?
