Can glass crack when being in the cold?
Well i ordered an iPhone 4S and the weather is very cold… I don't know if the iPhones in the truck could crack or something like that, but does cold crack glass? My order won't be getting here till morning and i ordered my iPhone 4S @ around 6:30pm and the guy said its going to take all night to get here and thats 9 hours!

Yes. Cold can cause glass to crack; however, I'm sure there would have to be something else that would cause movement to make it crack. Therefore, if your iphone was on a truck and moving about; while it was cold, it could potentially crack; however, most of the time, phones are put into foam so as not to move around too much.
My math teacher puts her iPhone 4S in the freezer most of the day ( I don't know why; she's weird) and when she takes it out at the end of each day it's completely fine and it stays fine. I do know that heat makes glass break because I left my empty fishbowl outside in the summer for a week but when I came back to get it I literally poked the thick glass and it shattered.
The iPhone 4S is made with a different type of glass than normal glass and is resistant to cracks. I ordered my iPhone a year ago and it shipped in January--it gets under 0 degrees here and it had no problems.

- Why does my Iphone lose battery in cold weather? I have an Iphone 5 and i usually keep it charging, but when it's like on 70% and i'm outside in 15-40 degree weather, all of a sudden it says that I only have 20% left, than about 1 minute later it says I have 10% left and than 20 seconds later, it dies.
