Can I charge a iPhone 3GS in a microwave?

I know it sounds stupid, but the charger is estimated to be here on July 3rd. Is it safe too, and will it actually charge it and if it is how long is it safe to?

  • Will Crapple warranty cover an iPhone destroyed in microwave oven? I put my iPhone in the microwave oven last night, and it totally blacked out after 4 seconds. I opened the door, took the iPhone out, and could not get it to turn back on. This morning, same thing. It won't turn on, it won't charge, and the computer won't recognize it. Will Crapple warranty cover this? Will they know it was damaged by the microwave oven?
