Can I charge my iPhone from the US in europe with just the plug changed?

So I live in Norway, and I'm considering buying an iPhone 5 from the US when it's released (as my brother lives there). The only problem is the charging. Can I use my US iPhone on the 230 V power net in Norway, by only changing the plug on the end of the charging cord, or do I have to carry my large converter box around if i wish to charge my iPhone at my friends house etc?

The charge should be universal.

You can plug its cord in to an Apple compatible USB charger though.

  • Will it work to just plug a Shure SM-58 into the iPhone 5? No extra software, no special mic, the 58 is the most common mic out there, and I have one. If I just get any old xlr to 1/8" adapter, and run the mic right into the headphone jack, will it use the mic to record the audio while I'm recording video? That's what I'm trying to do, I've Googled around, but there just seems to be a lot of talk about how some mics work and some don't, and it's not clear if you need a special cable.
  • What does an American need to charge iPhone in Central and Western Europe? I will be traveling in Germany, Austria, Czech, and Hungary. I'm also bringing my iPhone and a plug I can attach to my charger so that I can charge there. Do I also need an adapter (I think that is the term for the tool that converts voltage)? If so, what kind should I get?
  • Just updated to iOS 8 on my iPhone and it changed my ringtone and don't let me change it back? So I just updated to iOS 8 yesterday, but today all of a sudden my ringtone changed to a ding sound opposed to the original notification noise when I get texts. So I was like okay weird but no big deal I'll just change it back. So I went to settings and sounds and found the original ringtone and chose it. But when I went back out it didn't save. So I kept trying over and over and it still will not save it. It keeps going back to the ding ringtone. Am I doing something wrong? Any help?
  • Is tbere any major différence between thé iPhone 6 and the 6s? Whooppeee is Xmas again and my daughter wants new 2nd hand) iPhone… 2 years ago almost bought her 5 before i réaliséd that it was 5s she wanted ( cos thé 5 sucks?) And I don't want to screw up this year…
