Can i choose which version of iOS to update my iPhone to?
Currently i'm on iOS 7.3 but this version has a lot of annoying bugs such as unable to update apps or facetime anyone, i want to update to 7.1.2 but i don't know if its possible to do so? If i press upgrade on iTunes it will update it to iOS8 which i don't want since its only an iPhone 4s and iOS8 is sluggish on it. If i download the firmware from the internet will the update be verified by apple or will it leave me without a working phone?
It will update to the new one that barley came out so everyone dosnt have an option to update whatever iOS sorry.
- Will my iphone lock if i update my IOS version? I recently bought an iphone4s from ebay. The seller explained that the phone was originally on At&t carrier ( I'm with T mobile) . He had it unlocked. He also jailbroke it too. What i want to know is, if i update the IOS will my phone lock again, or will it be okay?
- Which is the last version of iOS that i can have in iphone 3g? I don't mind jailbreaking nor do i mind piracy. All i want to know wether i can update it to latest versions, cause most of the apps work in minimum iOS 5.
- If I update my iPhone to ios 7 will I be asked to choose a carrier? My iPhone has no service and I would like to update it to ios 7. But I'm afraid that I would need service on my phone to unlock it once its on.
- If I jailbreak my old iPhone 3G will that allow me to update the iOS to a newer version than it has? I have the iphone 5c but don't want to trash my old iphone because i can't get the same apps as my iphone 5. And explain a little more to me about jailbreaking?
