Can i completely wipe the operating system off my iphone 5?
I mean like remove the whole file system so that the phone can't even boot because there's nothing there

Maybe jailbreak the phone, install a terminal emulator and run rm -rf /?
I'm afraid this is a no, you can jailbreak the Iphone and get extra features but this does slow it down. But there's no way to completely remove it unless you are some pro hacker. I would just stick to IOS.

- Missing operating System on laptop? I have a Acer 7560 Laptop and I reseted my hard drive (like deleted everything) because it was so slow and some guy put a lot of programs when I wanted it fixed so it was useless. I thought it was going to be like the iPhone when you start all over but now when I turn it on all it says is "missing operating system" and I don't have a recovery disk or usb! So it's stuck like that. Can I buy a disk or usb online if so what type or do I need to take it to someone.
