Missing operating System on laptop?
I have a Acer 7560 Laptop and I reseted my hard drive (like deleted everything) because it was so slow and some guy put a lot of programs when I wanted it fixed so it was useless. I thought it was going to be like the iPhone when you start all over but now when I turn it on all it says is "missing operating system" and I don't have a recovery disk or usb! So it's stuck like that. Can I buy a disk or usb online if so what type or do I need to take it to someone.

Edit: if you wiped the recovery partition then you will have to purchase the recovery DVD from Acer. The link below should be what you need to buy the DVDs.

If you didn't wipe your recovery partition then this info might help you.
Make sure you back up all your files before doing this.
If your resetting a lappy, make sure you have the AC adapter plugged up. You do not want this process interrupted. This should take one or two hours. It is best to check on it to make sure everything is going fine.
Recovery from the recovery partition
Press the power button and when the Acer logo appears on the screen, press the left Alt, and the F10 keys.
If you are prompted with a Microsoft Windows boot screen, press the Enter key.
After the Acer eRecovery Management application has loaded, select your restore type.
Read the notice, and then click Next to begin the restore process. The restore can take anywhere from one to two hours.
Once the restore is complete your computer will load Windows and start installing your drivers and software. Your computer may reboot several times during this process. After everything is complete your computer will be like it was when you first purchased it.
This video cover the eRecovery.
http://www.youtube.com/...fiPQ#at=11 Ebay a copy of Win 7 Pro is about $60 get a recovery/reinstall disk from the laptops maker. Probably about $15. They are specific to the model and include the necessary drivers for your installed hardware. Hi…
It is not your fault (Well may be for not creating removable recovery media) …
When you reset or factory restore it should reinstall the OS…
The process will never wipe out your recovery partition…
The message "missing operating system" means there must have been an error / problem during the process…
This also means the hard drive is still working or "No Bootable Device" would be the message.
You can try again… Even if windows will not boot.
Turn computer ON
Immediately hold the Alt key and keep tapping F10
This should load up a familiar environment to the original factory restore / reset.
Let us know if this works…

- Will updating my iPhone apps affect my phone speed as how updating the Operating System (OS) will? Currently I'm using the iPhone 5s on iOS 8.3 I know if I were to update my phone to the latest OS I may notice some slowdown on my phone's performance, since it may not have the "muscle" to handle certain functions. Many apps now are optimised for iOS 9 and/or the 6th generation phones. Will my 5s' speed performance slow down if I update my apps? Will the app's performance slow down?
