Can i have my iphone 5 on silent and vibrate?
Is it possible to have silent mode on whenever i switch the little button on the left side but also have it on vibrate if i turn up the volume without having to go to settings and turning on vibrate? In settings i'm only able to have it on one or the other.
Nope, it's either silent or vibrate when the switch is flipped back. And when it's flipped forward, it's no longer on silent and there's no way to change that. Unless you jailbreak and… Nevermind, that's way too complicated.
- What's the difference between vibrate, silent, and muted volume when receiving calls? For the Iphone 4s. If I have my volume up (ie watching videos will tha make it ring.) Basically I don't want it to ring or vibrate, but I want it to have volume for other things.
- Recently lost iPhone and is on silent mode. Will the Find My Phone alert ring or not? I've logged onto iCloud and sent my phone an alert, but my phone is on silent mode. I was wondering if the alert would ring regardless if its on silent mode or not.
- My iphone won't vibrate even though vibrate is turned on? I have an iPhone 3gs and it worked fine until I updated it (ios 6). My phone, when on silent mode, won't vibrate when I get a message. In settings, everything is turned on, the vibrate part is selected. When the button (above the volume) is not on silent and then is flicked down to silent (vibrate) mode, it vibrates. However, it does not vibrate when I receive a message? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!
- My Iphone is on SIlent and Lost? I know for sure it is some where in my living room but I have checked! Every Where! I tried find my iphone but its not set up to my ipad so it won't work. I've tried calling but it won't ring or vibrate and I don't see the screen lighting up, Help?
