Can I Jailbreak my iPhone 5s Sim LOCKED?

OK i'm jailbreaking my iphone 5s version 7.0.4 that is locked to a carrier (smart sim philippines) so that I can unlock it from the carrier is it ok?

As has been said jailbreaking and unlocking are not the same thing. Yes you can jailbreak SIM locked iPhones (assuming there's a jailbreak available)

Don't get it twisted. Jailbreaking is NOT unlocking. They are two different things. Jaibreaking is like rooting an Android. It makes the iOS work and do things that it wasn't built to do. Unlocking a sim requires an unlock code. You buy that online, they aren't cheap and it's 50/50 that they work.

Best luck.

It's different. You need to just unlock it and not to jailbreak it
