Can I still use my old iPhone 3 after I've switched phones? I?
I have an iPhone 3 which I have service with AT&T and had a data, calling and texting plan. I just upgraded to a different phone and it will be delivered shortly. My daughter has a lot of apps on my iPhone and I was wondering can she still use these apps after I have switched to my new phone? Can I still use iMessage? Can I still use safari? Obviously, the phone will no longer have a data plan and I don't want to buy one just for my 3 year old although I will if I have to. So my question is can the iPhone still work (besides making calls) without my being charged? Can I just use the Wi-Fi?
I'm not sure if you can use the AT&T cellular data or 3G but you can still use the Wi-Fi and all other applications.
- Will the dry rice method still work for an iphone if it has been switched on? I dropped my phone in water and immediately took it out, dried it and turned it on to see if it worked. The phone worked but there was no sound so i googled what to do and i found the dry rice method but it said that you shouldn't turn on your phone but i did (maybe for ten mins?) so i turned it off and put it in a bag full of rice. Will the sound go back to normal because i turned on my phone? Should i put in the bag of rice with the back removed and battery exposed then?
- Old iphone Icloud lock still enabled after I buy a new iPhone with icloud on it? If I had my iPhone stolen with icloud lock on and I was tracking it. But I buy a new one and activate the icloud and tracker, does that mean the old iPhone is unlocked? What happens to it? Will I be notified if someone turns it on? Can I track it?
- Just switched my number to a new iphone, but my old phone still works? I just went and started an individual plan and got a new iphone 5, and they carried over my number from the virgin mobile prepaid i had before. My new iphone can make calls and send and receive texts… But so can my old phone. And when i called my cell number using my house phone, my old phone rang, but my new iphone didn't. Do i have to like cancel service or something? I'm confused about what to do, the guys at apple didn't mention anything about it.
- Iphone 3gs got switched off while jailbreaking and not getting switched on? I have jailbreaked my iphone 3gs with redsnow. During the last step of process in DFU mode or installing cydia it got switched off suddenly. And i tried to switch on it again. But it is not getting switched on. What is the solution for it.
