Can i stop texts and calls to my iphone?
I'm going abroad and just want to use my iphone as a ipod for music and apps.
so can i turn my calls and texts off so i don't received them?
and if so how?
Turn off all cell data and roaming signals. That way only the Wi-Fi is running like an iPod. You'll use airplane mode on the way over so it will kill all signals. Best luck.
Airplane Mode. Just turn that on & leave it on during your trip & turn it off when you return. Can & should turn on Wi-Fi after Airplane Mode is enable to at least use Wi-Fi wherever possible.
FTR, Airplane Mode turns off the cell signal (calls/texts), the data radio (data) & Wi-Fi but as I mentioned before you could turn back on Wi-Fi after the fact.
You put your phone in airplane mode.
