Can i switch a t mobile iphone 3g to verizon?
I understand you can unlock it, but how do you do that? And is it easy or will it even work? I have verizon and i realize that they do not use sim cards which makes it even harder to do so, i just need to know if i can switch
You can't do this whether or not you unlock the phone.
That's because Verizon phones use CDMA but T-Mobile uses GSM.
CDMA doesn't use a SIM card but GSM does. Plus those are two different standards for phone radio communications - the phones have different incompatible hardware.
Basically, if you unlock a T-Mobile phone, that will only let it work on other GSM carriers, like AT&T (and vice-versa).
Nope. T-Mobile is a GSM network & Verizon is a CDMA network. Also the iPhone 3G was only made as a GSM phone. Your phone is already unlocked as it would not work on T-Mobile otherwise, because T-Mobile is not an official iPhone carrier.
