Can i transfer SIM cards easily?

Can i transfer the SIM card from my blackberry to an iPhone without breaking a warranty or ruining my plan? Will my contacts transfer?

Added (1). 1 yes and 1 no… Huh.

No not those two phones they are locked

That's what they are designed for.

BB and iPhone don't use the same SIM card size. Sorry!

Essentially no. They are working on different formats and can't recognize. Even if you can make the transfer by getting around it somehow, the contacts will not be complete. I believe the numbers and part names can be successful in the transfers. Other information can't be done.

  • Travelling from US to Europe with an iPhone what can I do about sim cards? I'm travelling to the UK and Paris next month from California and needed to know how I could get my iPhone to work abroad? I'm currently with AT&T but could I get a micro sim in the UK and use this whilst I'm there? I really don't know how it works as I don't want to be charged loads when I get back home and wanted to find a cheap way to make phone calls and texts whilst I'm in the UK and Paris.
  • IPhones that can read already activated T-Mobile SIM cards? I asked my dad if I could get an iPhone if I could find one somewhere cheap enough that I could afford it. He said only if I can find one that can read regular T-Mobile SIM card, and is already unlocked to where it will work on the T-Mobile network. Does anyone know where, if they even exist, they can be bought/ordered?

  • Can you switch sim cards between iphones and blackberry? My blackberry just completely died on my screen won't even turn on. My cousin from France offered to let me use her iphone 4 while she is here for the next month and a bit. Can I just switch my sim card and put it into her iphone? Do I have to tell my carrier (telus)? Is there any other options?
