Can I uninstall Cydia entirely and still use my jailbroken iPhone?
I have a jailbroken iPhone 3GS iOS 4.1 and my camera shutter won't open. It's not a hardware issue (every now and then for no apparent reason the shutter will work). I read on a forum the issue could be some Cydia packages installed. So I want to kno: can I uninstall Cydia and still be able to use my iPhone?
Nope. Not without unjailbreaking(restoring) your phone.
- Why would Sprint text me a link for a free iPhone 5s that is not entirely free? 1. I received a text message from Sprint stating that I qualify for a free iPhone 5s. 2. I called Sprint's 1-800 number and confirmed with them on three separate occasions the phone was free and there would be no change to my bill. 3. They sent me the phone and upon activation tell me that my bill will go up $15 plus tax. Obviously, I returned the phone. The charge would make my bill go up $15 per month plus tax.
- What will happen to apps installed via cydia if I will delete cydia? I jailbroken the iphone for the purpose of installing an app which is not available in appstore. Now I do not need cydia anymore, I can delete it by deleting its packages. But what will happen to the app that is installed using cydia if I will remove cydia?
- My iPhone 8 Plus (IOS 12.3.2) keeps skipping songs, playing too fast. Or stopping entirely - what's going on? The software is up to date, I haven't dropped it in water recently, and restarting it didn't seem to help much - help!
