Can i unlock my iphone 5 under contract? - 1
My service provider cheated me and i'm not going to pay my monthly bill anymore, i'm still under contract but i want to unlock my iphone 5 and switch carriers, is this possible? And what carriers can i choose from?
Added (1). I forgot to mention its 6.1.3
Added (2). They told me i could get home phone along with cell phone service and it would still be the same price whether i chose to get it or not but i already had home phone with cox so i decided since the bill was gonna be the same whether i got it or not then i would just cancel my cox home phone service, but that was not the case and they're charging me $25 extra for home phone. So they tricked me into getting a service i did not need.

1st of all. How did they cheat you? 2nd you can get your phone unlocked. 3rd your under contract so you have to pay your monthly bill otherwise they could take you to court and it will affect your credit report. So bit more info please
At AT&T - to unlock iphone, it should not be under contract and your account should be updated. Although they provide unlock to qualifying clients. The only requirement is that customers profile should be updated and their gadget can't be connected with a present and effective term commitment with AT&T unlock client account
