Can I use a tmobile iPhone on Verizon's network?
My iphone is messed up and my friend offered to let me use her iphone. She has a 4s, mine is a 4. She says I can use it but I'm not sure if I can. Is it possible to use her iphone on my account?
No. T-Mobile uses GSM, while Verizon uses CDMA.
No, those two companies use different technology and their phones are not compatible with each other.
- Is there any way I can use an AT&T iPhone 4 on the Verizon network? My friend just got the new iPhone 5 and my old phone broke so he gave me his old iPhone 4. The problem is he has the iPhone 4 from AT&T and my plan is with Verizon. I've heard its possible to unlock the phone free by calling AT&T since his 2 year contract is up with that phone, so that it can be used by any carrier. However I know AT&T uses sim cards and Verizon doesn't. Is there ANY way I can use this phone with Verizon? I have no other options for a new phone.
- I have an unlocked AT&T iPhone 5, can I use it on the verizon network? Verizon iPhone 5's do have SIM cards, but I saw where the networks are different something about a gsm and a CDMA network. I want to be able to use it on verizon
- I clicked 'Forget this Network' on the Wi-Fi network, and I need to use that network? I'm on iPhone 4, with iOS 6, and like I mentioned, it was an accident and I need to use that network!
