Can I use an iPhone 4 originally from verizon that is no longer on a plan with just Wi-Fi?
My mom received a free verizon iPhone 4 for work a few years ago and it has not been on a plan in a long time. It has a lock code that no one remembers and I'm in the process of restoring it to factory defaults. I do not want to activate this phone and put it on a plan. I simply want to know if it is possible to use this iPhone as a mobile internet device just using Wi-Fi. I'm assuming I would have to jailbreak the phone to achieve this even if it is possible. Is this possible?
Yep, shouldn't have to jailbreak either. Reset back to factory. It'll just be an iPod. Best luck.
- Will an unlocked iPhone originally from Sprint work on an AT&T go phone plan? I found one on eBay, and I'm gonna join the $25 AT&T go phone plan. It's an unlocked iPhone 5c, and it says its originally from sprint, but will work on any gsm network, which AT&T is. But will it work? Or would I be wasting $300?
- Why is my iPhone all of a sudden named iPhone instead of what I originally named it which was not iPhone? Why is my iPhone all of a sudden named "iPhone" instead of what I originally named it which was not "iPhone"? Any plausible explanations?
- I need to factory unlock an iPhone 4S I bought online, originally locked to Sprint? Does anyone know from experience of a place that factory unlocks for a reasonable price? Please no comments on how I shouldn't have bought a phone online, I just need info on getting it unlocked so it can be used overseas. I tried calling Sprint and they said the original owner had to call in, but I can't get ahold of him anymore, however they stated it is unlockable.
- How can I remove photos from iPhone without using the computer it was originally synced with? The computer I synced my iPhone with has broken and no longer have access to. I have over 3,000 photos/videos which are "synced" albums and I do not have the option to delete these. They are taking up a lot of memory and I want to remove them. Anyone have a solution?
