Can i use and American iPhone in Ireland?
I want to get the iPhone 5C next week while i'm in America but will it work in Ireland(I live there btw)? I could bring it to a phone shop in Ireland and unlock it, but I'm not sure whether I can use an o2 sim card in an american phone.

You know iPhone 5C mean 5 cheap right? Get the 5s and show you have class. Yes. IPhone 4s on up are world phones.
No you can't its a different world zone, when I tried to do something similar it didn't work and I had mine unlocked.
I don't see why not as all versions 5 are both GSM and CDMA. (Friends of mine use theirs when they go to India by putting in a local sim).
