Can I use my iPhone in another country?
I have an AT&T iPhone 4S.
Say if I go to Europe for a month (where there's no AT&T), would I be able to use my phone there without extra charges? I have heard that there's a dual sim slot in iphones? I'm a little bit confused. If I say put a sim inside that slot, the phone will work with their company?
I think the iPhone works worldwide, but your carrier might charge extra depending on your plan.
If AT&T has international roaming, you can use it in Europe (call charges will be higher than in the US). All you need to do is get a plug adapter if you want to take you're exsisting one with you or buy one in Europe (will probably charge the phone faster).
You can ask to get the phone unlocked and get prepaid services from European carriers while you're there.
iPhones do not have dual sim card slots
