Can I use T-Mobile 4G repaid data plan on my iPhone 3G (factory unlocked)?

No, iphone 3g doesn't have 4g capabilities
You could but don't expect 4G speeds. In this case even 3G speeds probably wouldn't happen cause of T-Mobile's incompatible 3G/iPhone network so expect 2G.

- Will I be charged a data plan if I buy a factory unlocked iphone? I want to buy a factory unlocked iphone 4s off ebay. I currently have a 3g that's unlocked but I don't believe it's factory unlocked. If I put my sim card into this new 4s will AT&T know and add the data plan?
