Can i use text free with an iphone with out Wi-Fi?
So i have an ipod and i use the textfree / pinger app as my texting. I'm getting and iphone 4S and i want to be able to text for free… So i know that with an iphone you can do faceboook or what ever where ever… Can i do that with the texting app or do i have to have Wi-Fi to use it on an iphone? ( i want at least 3 answers!)
I'm afraid not, that's mostly for iPods.
If you're going to do it from an iPhone, it will work without Wi-Fi. It will not work on an iPod without Wi-Fi.
Imsg is free whenever you text another iphone user, you can post directly to facebook using siri now I believe.
It will work with the iphone but the app will only run under Wi-Fi or data. If you don't have unlimited data i really would not suggest using the app unless you didn't text that much. Also be conscoius of your data usage if you don't have unlimited and use facebook, twitter or any other app/location services that requires to be connected to the internet if you are not on Wi-Fi.
