Can Minecraft PE on iPhone play with Minecraft PE on Android WITHOUT same Wi-Fi?
I'm wanting to know if there's a way my friend and I can play Minecraft Pocket Edition with each other on our devices from a distance away. She has an Android an I have an iPhone. I have Minecraft Pocket Edition 0.8.1. If someone could answer this, it would be greatly appreciated.
PocketMine is a server software that can run such a server. You need a separate computer (win, mac, or *nix) to run it. Also, that computer needs to have port forwarding set up. Then go to Whatismyip.com on the computer running the server, and connect to that address.
In MC PE, on the MP screen, If you long tap, than a menu will open up to enter a IP for a "external server"
